 | Voice ContributorsWe are committed to helping improve the diversity of the media industry by supporting aspiring content creators to get their foot in the door and begin to work in a professional environment. Voice Contributors is a three-month training programme where aspiring writers, filmmakers, photographers, and audio creators work with the editorial team at Voice to create a portfolio. The programme concluded with a paid commission, and it can be a vital first step for a professional career in the industry. |
 | Kickstart ProgrammeIn response to the Covid-19 pandemic, the government announced a £2 billion fund to create hundreds of thousands of high quality 6-month jobs aimed at those aged 16 to 24 who are on Universal Credit and are deemed to be at risk of long-term unemployment. Voice is proud to have supported 23 young people in a variety of journalism, creative and business related roles, giving them both practical and specific experience to help them take their next step – whether that be a return to education, or a new job or placement. |
